It was primarily a warship of the 17th, 18th and 19th century. Highly flexible, with oars and sail, which were very helpful so as to reach easily any enemy ship.
It had 32 oars, 16 each side and a crew consisted of 80 men. It had also three masts, which are based on the three triangular sails. (lateens)
