Varkalas

A traditional boat in the East Aegean. The main specifications of Varkala is the shape of its stern, that ends steeply with the mirror (“tako”) and a fore post of the bow The mirror, might be vertical or with an ascent to the back and, usually decorated with wooden engravings at its edges.
